In the framework of establishing strong scientific and professional ties with the Korean Society for Surgery of the Hand (KSSH), we are pleased to announce the opening of one (1) Travel Fellowship to Korea.
This initiative aims to provide young orthopaedic and plastic surgeons with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge, gain international exposure, and build lasting collaborations with distinguished colleagues in Korea.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a registered Member of our Societies.
- Have completed their orthopaedic or plastic surgery residency and received their specialty title in 2018 or later.
- Demonstrate interest and commitment in the field of Hand Surgery.
Financial Coverage
- The air tickets will be fully covered by our Societies.
- Accommodation in Korea will be arranged and covered by the Korean Society for Surgery of the Hand (KSSH).
- The fellowship also includes complimentary registration for the 43rd Annual Congress of the KSSH.
Program Details
- Congress Date: Saturday, November 1, 2025
- Venue: Severance Hospital, 50-1, Yonsei-ro, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, South Korea.
- Hospital Visiting Period: Fellows may participate in hospital visits before the congress (October 29–31, 2025) or after the congress (November 3–5, 2025), as arranged by the KSSH.
Application Procedure
Interested candidates are invited to submit:
- A detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- A short Letter of Intent (max. 500 words) describing their motivation and expected benefits of this fellowship.
